1979-2004

Into this world you came,my little brother. I remember all the things we would get up to,the good times we had. We had our lives to look forward to. You had many things you wanted to do. One morning, he woke like any normal day, this day changed your life forever. Clint had his first seizure. This came as a shock to us and to him. He had been fine up till now. Soon after you were diagnosed with Epilepsy. He managed through most of his life with this. Never once did he ever complain or say why me. He lived everyday as best he could. Clint tried many different careers. He loved to cook, and decided to do an apprentiship as a chef. I remember  your cooking, always so hot only a few people could eat it.You loved chilli and added it to just about everything you cooked. That wasn't to be,and you joined a company called Extreme Promotions. A marketing company, where your job was to sell products door to door. I remember your passion for this job,and how you would always talk about it.After a year or so you decided you wanted to move over to Melbourne to pursue this career more seriously. I remember saying goodbye to you at the airport, and watching you board the plane. You never knew a tear fell from my eye that day, proud of your courage. It took alot for you to move away from your family and friends. You did so much more than I expected. Shortly after arriving in Melbourne, you were promoted to ManagingDirector of your own company. You called it the IMG GROUP.Clint spent the next two years 100% dedicated to his dream. The job was extremely stressful to you,and you suffered many seizures. Still you kept going.  He had  a nephew Joshua and A neice Tiarna . He loved them so very much and missed them living so far away.We always looked forward to christmas time, as we spent it with you every year.Christmas 2003 was special and I loved seeing you . I wished you could stay,as I was going to have another baby in Feburary. Once your holiday was over we waved goodbye to you . We all spoke to you as the weeks went by. Then the 26th Feburary at 3.16am Taj Brodie entered this world, your second nephew. You rang me at the hospital and congratulated me on his arrival, and said we would catch up soon. You wanted to see your new nephew.I never thought that was the last time to ever talk to you....

1st March 2004

Today was your 25th Birthday. It was 4.30am Perth time,I was sitting in Taj's room feeding him. This lasted 3 hours, and the entire time I was thinking of you in Melbourne which was a couple of hours ahead of us. I was wondering what you were doing. I was going to call to say happy birthday, but didnt want to wake everyone up in the house.I thought I'd better wait untill everyone woke up,and you were at work.  The  phone rang at 9.30am, It was mum. I will never forget the words I heard. 'Clint has died.' I screamed and  I cried, and then I went numb. I didnt understand it was your birthday, how could you die on your birthday. Clint got up to ready for work, he went to have a shower. While in the shower,Clint had a Grand- Mal seizure. He was unable to move his head and  he stopped breathing.I never got to tell him how proud I was of him. If there was one thing I would like him to know is that I love him with all my heart, and would do anything to have my brother back. I love you .Until the day I see you again, have a great time where you are.  I look forward to  joining you when my time here is up.Love Tash
